On Sunday May 3 — the weekend before Mother's Day — we're escaping into the wilder side of the Golden Gate on e-bikes. This isn't a tour. It's a reclamation. 🚲🌉
From the charming waterfront streets of Sausalito to historic bunkers with sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline, from a little-known beach bursting with spring wildflowers to a summit where the Bay, the Bridge, and the Pacific stretch out in every direction — this ride is all about perspective. Each stop a different vantage point. Each one a reminder that when you shift how you look at things — the landscape, your life — everything looks different. 🌁✨
We chose the Sunday before Mother's Day intentionally — so you can celebrate yourself before the family festivities begin. The brunches, the traditions of the actual day — that's all coming. But this? This is your WILD RIDE. 💛

Good news: e-bikes are a game changer! ⚡ The electric assist handles the climbing so you can focus on the scenery, the conversation, and the pure joy of the ride. This is a paved and wide open road experience — charming streets, coastal roads, and sweeping scenic paths. Not a technical trail in sight. 🛣️
You'll get a good workout — enough to feel proud and accomplished — without it ever feeling like too much. Our expert guides will have you briefed and rolling within 20 minutes and they'll be with you the whole way. 🙌🏾
🌊 Sausalito — Where We Begin
We start along the famous Bridgeway — Sausalito's iconic waterfront road — where you'll ride past colorful houseboats bobbing in the Bay, charming cafes, and stunning views across the water to San Francisco. ⛵ It's the kind of start that makes you wonder why you don't do this every weekend.
🥪 A Charming Local Deli Stop
Our route takes us past one of Sausalito's most beloved local spots — a charming, delicious deli where you can pre-order your lunch before we head into the Headlands. 🥖☕ The perfect fuel for the adventure ahead.
🏯 Historic Bunkers — A Hidden World at the Foot of the Bridge
As we ride toward the Golden Gate Bridge, we'll pass through an area most Bay Area residents have never explored — old military bunkers tucked into the hillside, dramatic and unexpected. 🌉 From here, the views of the San Francisco skyline are absolutely breathtaking. Most people drive right past this without ever knowing it exists.
🔒 The Love Lock Viewpoint
Along the road you'll find a fence covered in locks left by visitors from around the world — heart-shaped locks, personalized locks, locks left as a symbol of love, hope, and intention. 💛 We'll stop here for photos and a moment of reflection. Each of you will receive a keepsake charm engraved with WILD — lock it to the fence as your Mother's Day intention, or take it home as a reminder of the mom who showed up for herself today. 🌿 Either way, the photos here are extraordinary. 📸
🌿 An Unexpected Beach — Wildflowers, Lunch & Your Botanical Keepsake
We'll descend to a little-known beach 🏖️ — one that offers a view of the Golden Gate Bridge from an angle most people never see. Spring wildflowers will be in full bloom all around us 🌸🌼 — and this is where we'll stop for lunch, soak it all in, and create our botanical keepsake.
You'll forage native coastal plants — sagebrush, fennel, wildflowers — and press them onto a beautiful notecard printed with a special reflection prompt. 🌿🎨 Made with your own hands, in one of the most beautiful unexpected spots in the Bay Area. A tangible, meaningful memory of the day that you'll keep forever.
This time is YOURS. 💛 No agenda. No rushing. Just you, the wildflowers, the bridge in the distance, and whatever comes up when you finally give yourself permission to stop. 💭
⛰️ The Summit — Seeing the Whole Picture
We'll ride up to one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in all of California. 🌁 On one side: the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay, and the San Francisco skyline. On the other: the Pacific Ocean stretching to the horizon. From up here, everything looks different.
That's kind of the whole point. 💛
This is where we'll pause for our final reflection prompt — about zooming out, seeing the bigger picture, and remembering that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is step back and take in the view.
