(3/1, Sunday) Alamere Falls in Point Reyes: Moms' Epic Conquest! One Waterfall. Infinite Pride. πŸ’ͺ🏾🌊🌸

from $0.00

Sunday, March 1, 2026 | Weather Backup: Saturday, March 14

This is it, mama. Your first BIG challenge of 2026. Thirteen miles. One waterfall. Infinite pride. TOGETHER, WE WILL DO THIS! πŸ’ͺ🏾🌊🌸

Imagine standing on a windswept beach, surrounded by your tribe of badass moms, watching a waterfall plunge directly onto the sand. You just hiked SIX MILES to get here β€” and you crushed it.

This isn't a retreat. This is a conquest.

March ushers in California's wild coastal awakening β€” emerald hills explode with the first spring wildflowers, the Pacific crashes against ancient cliffs, and the trails call to anyone brave enough to answer. This is your invitation to prove to yourself what you already know deep down: You are capable of SO much more than you think.

And here's the secret: It's not even that hard. The 13 miles are gentle, guided, and perfectly paced. I'll handle the tide timing (we're hitting that beach at the PERFECT low tide). You just need to show up with sturdy shoes and the willingness to surprise yourself.

BUDDY CHALLENGE PRICING DEAL

Thinking about bringing a friend? DO IT! Our Buddy Challenge pricing ($180 for two β€” that's $20 in savings!) makes it easy to bring your adventure partner. Having your person by your side makes this experience even more powerful. You'll push each other when it's hard, celebrate together at the waterfall, and share a triumph you'll talk about for years. Plus, let's be real: convincing another mom to take a Sunday for herself? You're basically doing her a favor. πŸ˜‰

Come solo and leave with a crew, or bring your bestie and strengthen that bond through shared adventure. Either way, you'll be part of something bigger than yourself β€” a tribe of women proving that together, we can do hard things.

I'll bring the expertise, encouragement and the unwavering belief that YOU'VE GOT THIS. Together, we WILL do this.

WHAT AWAITS YOUR ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT:

🌊 The Rare Tidefall Wonder

Alamere Falls is one of only TWO tidefalls in California β€” a waterfall that cascades directly onto the beach. Most people never see it because the timing has to be perfect. But I've got you. We're hitting the beach at PRIME low tide (-0.88 ft!) so you'll have the full magical experience: waterfall mist on your face, ocean at your feet, cliffs towering above. This is bucket-list stuff, mama.

πŸ₯Ύ 13 Miles That Will Change How You See Yourself

Yes, a TOTAL of THIRTEEN MILES ROUND TRIP β€” or 2.5 hours each way. But here's what they don't tell you: it's not technical. No crazy elevation. No scrambling. Just steady, beautiful coastal hiking through Point Reyes National Seashore. I'll guide every step, we'll take strategic breaks, and you'll be STUNNED at how strong you feel. This is the hike that makes you realize: "Wait, I'm actually a hiker."

🌸 Spring's First Wildflower Show

March is when Point Reyes transforms into a living watercolor painting. Golden poppies. Purple lupine. Bright yellow California buttercups. The hills GLOW. We'll be hiking through the very first blooms of the season β€” nature's celebration of renewal and growth. Just. Like. You.

πŸ” Moms' Coastal Scavenger Hunt

This isn't just a march to the falls β€” it's an ADVENTURE. I've created a special scavenger hunt to keep your eyes open for coastal treasures: elephant seals (we might see them!), unique rock formations, specific wildflowers, hidden beach finds. Channel your inner explorer. Bring out your playful side. Compete with your crew or just delight in the discoveries.

πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ€β€πŸ‘©πŸΎ The Power of the Pack

You will NOT be alone on this challenge. You'll be surrounded by other moms who are also testing themselves, also pushing their limits, also discovering they're stronger than they knew. When your legs get tired, someone will make you laugh. When doubt creeps in, someone will remind you how far you've come. Together, we WILL do this.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Expert Guidance (Zero Stress)

I've done the homework. I know the route. I've timed it perfectly with the tides. I'll set the pace, call the breaks, and get you to that beach EXACTLY when you need to be there. All you have to do is put one foot in front of the other. I've got everything else covered.

πŸŒ… Stunning Coastal Views That Steal Your Breath

The Pacific Coast. Dramatic cliffs. Endless blue horizon. Rolling green hills meeting the sea. You'll be hiking along some of the most spectacular coastline in California. Every vista is a reminder: you are small, and you are mighty, and this world is WILD.

🍽️ Optional Post-Hike Celebration Dinner

Conquered 13 miles? CELEBRATE! For those who want to keep the magic going, we'll grab dinner together afterward. Share stories. Laugh about the hard parts. Toast to your incredible accomplishment. Bond with your new adventure sisters. (Optional β€” no pressure if you need to get home!)

🫢🏽🫢🏾🫢🏿 YOUR ADVENTURE SQUAD IS WAITING

Come ready to surprise yourself. Come with a friend (and save!). Come solo and leave with a crew. Whether this is your first big hike or you're already an outdoor enthusiast, you'll find yourself surrounded by women who GET IT β€” the juggle, the exhaustion, the hunger for something JUST FOR YOU.

Ready to trade your Sunday to-do list for ocean spray, wildflowers, waterfall views and the unshakeable confidence that comes from doing hard things? This is your first big test of 2026. Let's conquer it TOGETHER.

  • Let's be real: 13 miles sounds intimidating. But here's the truth β€” this hike is long, not hard. The Alamere Falls trail is relatively flat with minimal elevation gain, following gentle coastal paths through Point Reyes National Seashore. No technical scrambling, no crazy climbs, just steady, scenic walking.

You should be comfortable hiking for a full day (expect 6-8 hours total including breaks). We'll take strategic rest stops, move at a sustainable pace, and I'll guide you every step of the way. Most adults with a basic fitness level can complete this hike β€” you don't need to be an athlete, just willing to put one foot in front of the other.

What you DO need: Good broken-in hiking boots or shoes (trails can be muddy in March!), plenty of water (3+ liters), snacks/lunch, and the mindset that you're going to surprise yourself with what you're capable of.

Bottom line: If you can walk for several hours with breaks, you can do this hike. It's more about endurance than difficulty. And that's exactly why it's such a confidence builder β€” it LOOKS impressive (because 13 miles IS impressive!) but it's totally achievable.

  • March in Point Reyes is beautifully unpredictable β€” which is exactly why we have a weather backup date! Expect mild coastal conditions with daytime temperatures in the mid-50s to low 60s, though it can feel cooler with ocean breezes. Mornings may start in the upper 40s.

March is still part of California's rainy season, so we could encounter morning fog, light drizzle, or gloriously sunny skies. The good news? Spring wildflowers LOVE this weather, and dramatic coastal clouds make for incredible photos. The not-so-good news? Trails can be muddy, so waterproof hiking boots are essential.

Come prepared for layers! Start with a moisture-wicking base layer, add a fleece or lightweight puffy jacket, and bring a waterproof rain jacket. You'll likely shed layers as you warm up on the trail, so pack everything in a daypack.

Bottom line: We hike rain or shine (that's what makes us badass!), but if conditions are genuinely unsafe (heavy rain, high winds, flooding), we'll move to our weather backup date: Saturday, March 14. I'll make the call by [date/time] and notify everyone via WhatsApp and email.

Pro tip: Pack an extra pair of dry socks. Future you will be SO grateful. 🧦
