Saturday, June 28, 9:30 a.m.
MOMS-ONLY HIDDEN TRAIL ADVENTURE + MID-YEAR CHECK-IN
A Secret Redwood Sanctuary You Won't Find on A Map!
If there was a hidden trail made just for busy moms to reconnect with themselves, it would surely be here π²β¨!!
What to expect:
πΊοΈβ SECRET UNMAPPED TRAIL: This hidden gem isn't on AllTrails or any hiking app β it's our own secret sanctuary winding through lush green redwood forest that will calm and inspire your soul!
π§ποΈ CASCADE SYMPHONY: Countless tiny waterfalls and cascades create the perfect soundtrack for reflection as we navigate this moderately challenging 5-mile journey with 750 feet of elevation gain!
ππ« WILD BERRY FORAGING: Fresh wild blackberries and strawberries ripening on the vine - nature's own reward system as we climb tree roots and scramble over boulders! Hopefully, the berries will be ready to eat!
πΈπ ONCE-IN-A-DECADE WILDFLOWER MAGIC: We're hoping to witness something incredible - a rare wildflower that only blooms every 11-15 years is on the brink of blooming RIGHT NOW!
π¦π FOREST WILDLIFE WONDERLAND: Newts plodding through crystal-clear water, banana slugs munching on leaves, and butterflies dancing through dappled sunlight - pure forest magic!
πβοΈ SOUL-NOURISHING ACTIVITIES: We'll journal our mid-year reflections, sketch the beauty around us (paper and pencils provided!), and share how we're really doing as we approach the halfway mark of 2025.
π§ββοΈπͺ BODY + MIND CHALLENGE: This isn't just contemplative! We'll climb gnarly tree roots, scramble over boulders, and get those inner and outer juices flowing! A perfect balance of physical challenge and mental restoration.
πΊπ½οΈ WELL-EARNED CELEBRATION: After our soul-nourishing adventure, we'll grab lunch at the famous Alpine Inn! Yes, parking is a tough and we might wait for a table, but it'll be the perfect reward after challenging our bodies and feeding our spirits.
πποΈ FREE FOR BREAST CANCER WARRIORS: This healing adventure is free for current breast cancer patients and survivors because every warrior deserves time to reconnect with nature and herself. As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand how transformative and essential getting out into nature can be on this journey.
πππ SCAVENGER HUNT: Educational flash cards, checklist for moms to keep! Even informative for the littlest littles
This is your invitation to step away from the everyday, connect with other moms, and rediscover yourself on a trail that exists just for us. Come as you are: Leave renewed and inspired for whatever the second half of 2025 brings!
