Friday, 2 PM: Meet in the parking lot and hike to monarch grove. View monarchs; Miranda bringing kids’ telescope to help with viewing. Afterward, head over to a nearby beach to explore tiny tidepools and a cave; fun in the sun for the kids, R&R for the parents! We’ll order cheese pizza; participants need to sign up and pay for pizza in advance.

We have so much FUN on these adventures — they sell out every year — so this fall we're capping numbers and prioritizing families who choose the bundle option first. Grab all 3 fall day adventures in one go, and your family saves $30 compared to booking each one separately at today's rates.
While you can still do drop-ins per day trip, bundle families get priority booking and guaranteed spots.

Outings are not refundable. A one-time credit transfer to another outing — to be used within three months — is possible; the credit expires within three months, please DM Miranda.

EVERY 10TH: For every 10th family who signs up for this outing, we can welcome a family for free. This is geared toward low income families. We don't check income; this is an honor system. If you want to join under the EVERY 10TH program, please write EVERY 10TH in the payment section. When deciding, we will give priority (among other factors) to those who have never joined an outing to ensure that everyone gets a chance to attend.
