Your kid's imagination will run wild in this forest of ladybug wands and fairy stick forts in dreamy Redwoods in the East Bay! This is a toddler friendly outing.
WHAT TO EXPECT
🐞🐞🐞 LADYBUG CITY! Ladybugs are out in full force, carpeting the forest floor and forming what we like to imagine are magic wands! The kids can learn about the lady beetle while watching this insect as it gathers with thousands of other ladybugs during its winter migration.
🪵🧚🏿🌲STICK FORT PLAYLAND! Several Redwood stick forts provide so much imagination play for kids and parents. Explore the forts and we'll also work on building one of our own!
🪵🌲🪵OBSTACLE COURSE! Many tree stumps and logs for the kids to climb and walk!
💦💦💦 EXPLORE a FLOWING CREEKwhile doing an educational scavenger hunt with your family
🐿️ 🍄🟫 LOOK for CRITTERS + COOL PLANTS: Banana slugs, squirrels, mushrooms, the season's first wildflowers 🌺
🏕️❤️🫂 COMMUNITY, FRIENDSHIP + SUPPORT: Instant 'playdate' for your kiddos! We usually have kids from toddlers up to tweens join, with all of the kids playing together. You might see old FAS friends + hopefully make some new ones, too! We also offer all kinds of support: Forgot baby wipes? Need more snacks? Solo parenting on the outing and need some extra help? We got you!
📖🔍🗺️EXPLORE PART of the BAY AREA: We will include tips on what to see in this part of the Bay Area to make the outing more of a day trip adventure, if you like! Join us for lunch afterward🍴!
